PM Announces Recruitment of 200 Additional Doctors for Techo Santepheap National Hospital

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Sen has announced the recruitment of 200 more doctors in addition to the current 1,000 working at the Techo Santepheap National Hospital.

Speaking during the inspection of the Techo Santepheap National Hospital on Thursday morning, 19 January 2023, Prime Minister Hun Sen said, “A prosperous society requires a strong education, social, and health sector. Focusing on these sectors will benefit the country.”

“From now on, the health and education sectors are the top priority,” he added.

The Prime Minister also announced the recruitment of 300 additional contracted staff for the hospital, such as drivers and cleaners.
